WILL THE UNHRC INITIATIVES END THE LANKAN GENOCIDE DESPITE THE RE-INVIGOURATED SOUTH BLOCK CAPTIVE DELHI?

by Vssubramaniam, Ground Report, August 10, 2012 - Colombo boastfully hawks its National Action Plan (NAP) implementing all the inconsequentials in the LLRC’s proposals but omits the crucial political element. The NAP is a diversion to tire out the international community away from efforts to hold Lanka accountable for its grave crimes against humanity. Once the NAP fails to provide the space to effectively deal with the crucial political component that led to the conflict in which Lanka committed the crimes, all the hog wash in LLRC and NAP to bring about long-term reconciliation and lasting peace in Lanka is no different from what the Sinhala regimes promised and never delivered for over the past six decades and allowed the oppression of the Eelam Tamils to continue without any redress. In summary the NAP here amounts to a ‘No Action Plan’.

SRI LANKA (BAN/NAMBIAR EXCEPTED) CONTEMPTUOUS OF THE UNHRC THREATENS TAMILS WITH MORE MULLIVAYKKAL M

by Vssubramaniam, June 26, 2012 - The Rajapakses’ impunity now extends to obstructing with threats the implementation of the key ‘reconciliation’ components in the LLRC report that the UNHRC adopted in March 2012. The Tamils are being warned against supporting any devolution package be it the Delhi sponsored 13 Amendment plus or any other. Given the Rajapakses’ track record in deception the desperate plea of the Tamils to the International Community (IC) and UN agencies is to act/intervene swiftly and firmly to avoid far more severe turmoils than the Mullivaykkal massacres should SL embark on Chanpika’s massacre threat.

Would Rajapakses/Sri Lanka (SL) continue to act with impunity despite the recent UNHRC resolution? - by Vssubramaniam

by Vssubramaniam, Ground Report, April 05, 2012 - Sri Lanka’s track record of over indulging with impunity in deceptions on the international community over the last six decades long genocide backfired when the UNHRC-SL resolution was adopted recently. Yet the Rajapakses chose to defy the Resolution and the UNHRC, the mandated body to bring rogue human rights abusers into line though the Resolution was most reasonably worded The victims of the Rajapakses’ genocide are profuse in appreciating the humanity of those who voted for the resolution. In contrast the Rajapakses derisively abuse the eminent personalities in the international community, the NGOs, think tanks and reputable sections of the media who produced this great humanitarian outcome. THE ‘KOLAIVERI’ TRAIT OF DELHI SONIA JUNTA AIDED THE COLOMBO GENOCIDE RAJAPAKSE REGIME TO COMMIT

by Vssubramaniam, The Ground Report India, January 09, 2012 - The popular ‘kolaiveri’ song (with over 30 million hits) carries the ‘murderous’ or ‘killer’ rage connotation that tempts many to adapt it to lament human sufferings caused by bloodthirsty oppressors. The adapted versions of the ‘kolaiveri’ song are immensely popular with Eelam Tamils who suffer the pain of the Rajapakses’ ‘kolaiveri’ genocide. ‘Kolaiveri’ trait also afflicts the Sonia junta; Sonia UPA/Congress partnered in the Rajapakse ‘kolaiveri’ SL genocide. The two regimes have too much in common; the victims of the Rajapakses’ kolaiveri’ are mainly the Eelam Tamils, now includes the Sinhalese themselves who disapprove the Rajapakses’ dictatorial governance. For the Delhi Sonia junta its kolaiveri victims are the Kashmiris and also the dissenting mainstream Indians and non mafia Congress regimes in the states.

HOW LONG WILL SONIA GANDHI’S CONGRESS LAST AFTER DUMPING THE MAHATMA TRAIT IN THE GANDHI NAME?

by Vssubramaniam 02 December 2011 - The following reader’s comments; ‘Similar to Sri Lanka appointing alleged war criminals as diplomats, India has appointed Malayalee MK Narayanan, former policeman who failed to prevent the Bombay attacks, implicated in Sri Lankan war crimes and Human rights abuses in the Wikileaks cables is appointed as a Governor in India. Shame on the Indians who...back Italian Maino ...Mohandas Gandhi did not...lead...the freedom struggle to have an uneducated Italian woman to be a leader in India. …Undoubtedly India under Italian Sonia Maino has been committing human rights abuses.’ Groundreport; Nov 11, 2011; ‘The sins that hurt Indians generally (Tamilians especially) haunts the dismal UPA2-Congress record domestic and international. The comments give vent to the popular resentment against a UPA2-Congress committing crimes though claiming a Gandhian lineage

DELHI’s COVERT SUPPORT FOR SRI LANKA GENOCIDE AGAINST TAMILS ENTERS THE UNHRC PHASE

by Vssubramaniam, The Ground Report, September 27, 2011 - The much awaited UNHRC September 2011 sessions began recently with the Eelam Tamils expectantly looking forward to some tangible progress in addressing the excesses of the genocide trauma that the Rajapakses inflicted on them. Unlike in the Colombo/Delhi pressured May 2009 sessions the UNHRC membership today has overwhelming evidence of the Rajapakse genocide crimes, thanks to Wikileaks (more and more incriminating leaks are surfacing), the UN ‘expert panel’ report , the epic Channel 4 ‘Killing Fields’ and the Headlines Today documentaries and a re-nourished and balanced world-wide media coverage. These deeply stir the conscience of the world with the civil international community totally isolating the SL genocide regime and in unison clamouring to bring the offenders before the ICC to face justice. Today the mandated UNHRC is better placed to contribute towards delivering justice to the victims despite the strenuous obstructions by some member nations with poor human rights records and others with suspect geo-political agenda inimical to the noble role entrusted to the UNHRC.

THE UNHRC - THE LAST REFUGE FOR EELAM TAMILS! SRI LANKA‘s CHOGM MEMBERSHIP?

DELHI MORE ALARMED THAN COLOMBO OVER MULLIVAYKAL (M’KAL) MASSACRES AND SRI LANKA (SL) WAR CRIMES

by Vssubramaniam August 07, 2011 - Delhi’s predicament will remain as long as Delhi’s policies are driven by the personal interests of the Keralite mafia. World opinion against SL genocide has hardened that the prospect of SL’s crimes against humanity going away is remote, Delhi or no Delhi. In India as well opinion both media and at the political level is urging a major policy change in Indo-SL relations and TN CM Jeyalalitha for mainstream Tamilians is forthright in urging Delhi to support UN’s crimes against humanity initiatives. Delhi under Menon is moving against this tide into the zone of international isolation that SL is in. Prof Surianarayanan in his recent piece ‘Sri Lanka- Myths and Realities’ in SAAG argues that TN delivered a massive defeat for Menon /Congress ‘close group’s’ anti-Tamil policies, in effect it was a vote of no-confidence on Menon’s adversarial anti-Tamil SL mindset. ‘That, makes Menon a misfit in his present role and has to be removed along with his SL appeasement policy more so when Menon’s personal interest conflicts with the interest of India. ‘The Keralite trio’s SL appeasements have failed; its continuance will show up as grave mistakes and harm further India’s interest.’

THE LETHAL RAJAPAKSES ‘IN THE LOOP’ SRI LANKA WAR CRIMES WEAPON FORCES DELHI INTO SHIV SHANKAR M

by Vssubramaniam, July 28, 2011 - World opinion against SL genocide has hardened that the prospect of SL’s crimes against humanity going away is remote, Delhi or no Delhi. Similarly the winds of change blowing across the world is being felt in India as well with opinion both media and at the political level is urging a major policy change in Indo-SL relations. TN CM Jeyalalitha, mainstream Tamilians are forthright in urging Delhi to support UN’s crimes against humanity initiatives; this is anathema to Menon. Delhi under Menon’s initiative is moving against this tide into the zone of international isolation that SL is in. Prof Surianarayanan in his recent piece ‘Sri Lanka- Myths and Realities’ in SAAG reinforces the voice of the Tamils who in TN delivered a massive defeat for the machinations of Menon /Congress ‘close group’s’ anti-Tamil policies, in effect it was a vote of no-confidence on Menon’s adversarial anti-Tamil SL mindset. That, makes him a misfit in his present role especially when he chooses to ignore the reality on the ground and has to be removed along with his SL appeasement policy that has lost relevance. The Keralite trio’s SL appeasement has failed; its continuance will show up as a grave mistake and harm further India’s interest.

SRI LANKA COUNTERS ‘KILLING FIELDS’ WAVE WITH A SEVERE OFFENSIVE ON THE DIASPORA

by Vssubramaniam, The Ground Report, July 09, 2011 - The response of the world community to the graphic Channel 4’ ‘Sri Lankan Killing Fields’ documentary is overwhelming. It greatest merit is to confirm authoritatively the UN ‘expert panel’s’ findings on the brutality of SL’s genocide thus disabusing the myths surrounding the hackneyed ‘terrorism’ that SL used to cloud the ‘truth’; a genocide to totally ethnic cleanse SL of Tamils. SL challenging the report, the professionalism of the members of the UN ‘expert panel’ and Channel 4 using undignified name-calling debases SL’s case. The genocide debate however elevates the professionalism of Channel 4 and the U N ‘expert panel’, to SL’s distress.
