Jayalalithaa accuses Centre of being 'meek' before the Sri Lankan government

Times of India, 13 July 2012 - Regretting that the Centre was being "meek" before the Sri Lankan government, Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa reiterated her demand that the Sri Lankan airforce personnel, who are in India for a training programme, be sent back to their country immediately. "It is regrettable that instead of acting like a tiger, the Centre is bending like a mouse before the Sri Lankan government," she said in a strongly-worded statement. The chief minister once again urged the Centre to take immediate steps to send the Sri Lankan airforce personnel back to their country.
